  • How to buy on the "Grand Marché" ?
    Practically, you buy directly from craftsmen, producers or designers. The purchasing process takes place in two main stages.
    • Put an item in your shopping basket – find an article you want to buy and click the green button "Add to cart".
    • Go to your shopping basket by clicking the Basket/Checkout, at the top of the page.
    • You can select the amount that you wish to buy, you can remove an item you can specify where you want the item to be sent, you can see the total cost and the shipping costs for your order.
    You can also send a message to the seller in the section "Message”.
    You are asked to login or to create an account on the platform and join the community. If you are connected to the platform, you need to choose the delivery method and indicate or add your shipping address. You must carefully read the General Conditions of use and sales, and then select a method of payment. For delivery in Switzerland, you can pay cash, by bank transfer, by credit card or by Paypal. In Europe, you can pay only by credit card or by Paypal. Once the payment is made, you will need to confirm the order. You will be notified by email on each stage of the buying process.
  • How to join the community of craftsmen, producers and Swiss designers?
    If you are not yet a member, you must register by creating an account. Click on "Register", complete the form (email, password, name and first name) and click on "Becomes a member only". Then click on the confirmation link in the welcome email from the "Grand Marché" (that you will receive) and you will be redirected to your personal account where you have to mention in the section "My addresses" your address of billing and, if different, your delivery address.
  • How to search and choose a product?
    To buy from "Grand Marché", you must first choose the products you want to buy.
    If you have not yet decided and you like many products, you can add them to your Favorites list and then return to make the purchase decision. Remember that in order to see your favorites list, you must be a member or create an account and login.
    You have several options to find your favorite product:
    1. Firstly, you can use the main search bar to search (name, reference) products or sellers/shops (name). Once inside the desired shop page, you can continue to refine your search by using the shop search bar. In a search, there are displayed only those outcomes that are related to this shop.
    2. Secondly, you can search the subcategories of each type of market. To refine your search, you can use the filters that will be displayed while accessing the page of a category or subcategory.
    3. Thirdly, under the heading "Cast a glance". You have the possibility to see all the products that are discounted, news, or to look for a shop near you, etc.
    4. Fourthly, on the promotional banners on the home page "Best pick" with the flagship products selected by the sellers or "Discover our shops" with the promotion of the shops and their products.
  • What are the accepted payment methods ?
    The accepted payment methods vary according to the sellers, but you can usually pay by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, etc), Paypal, by bank transfer or in cash (if delivery is provided directly to the vendor). If you choose to pay by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, etc) you will need to select the method of payment by PayPal. The PayPal online payment service allows you to perform and pay by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, etc) without having a PayPal account.
  • Is payment secure?
    Yes. If you choose to pay by credit card, the Paypal online payment service, owned by eBay, allows you to buy safely without sharing your financial information with sellers.
  • How to create a PayPal account?
    In order to make a purchase with credit card on the”Grand Marché”, you are not required to have a Paypal account.

  • Can I pay once for multiple products?
    Yes. If your “shopping cart” contains products from several shops:
    For delivery in Switzerland and in the case where all vendors use the same payment by bank transfer, the payment can be made only once by activating the button "Validate my order";
    If there are sellers who don't have a bank account, payments will be made individually, using another method of payment among those available: credit card, Paypal or cash.
    In general (delivery in Switzerland and Europe), note that in the case of the single basket (items from several shops that you buy in a single transaction 'bundle'), you will be proposed only the regulation by CB (Bank Card) (Visa, Mastercard, etc) or PayPal.
  • What are the delivery methods ?
    The delivery methods may vary from one vendor to another or from one product to the other. If a vendor offers several methods of delivery, you can choose the one that suits you best.
    Among the common methods of delivery :
    • Delivery by the Swiss post (the rates depend on the weight and the place of delivery) ;
    • Remove the product directly to the vendor (in this case, the delivery is free) ;
    • Vendor supports shipping (free from a certain amount to the order).
  • Dispatch and delivery ?
    Products are shipped directly by craftsmen, producers or designers. Generally the shipment is made after payment has been received.
  • When will I receive my order?
    Each vendor must specify on the product page, under the heading 'Delivery', the specific delivery time for each product.
    In case of delay, we suggest you to contact the seller directly. If you don't have a response on the part of the seller or the order is considerably delayed, report your problem via our page of contact.
  • How do I track my order?
    You can track your order from your personal account on the platform (topic "History and details of my orders"). Each seller has the possibility to add the delivery tracking of each order/product number.
  • How do I cancel my order?
    You can cancel an order at any time you want unless it has not already been sent.
    To cancel an order, you must contact the seller and specify that you want to cancel your order.
    To contact the seller you can go to his shop page or product page where you will find "Contact this seller" and " Have a question ? Contact the seller ". Click this button and in the window that opens you can leave a message to the seller.
  • Whatto do if I do not get the order ?
    If you have not received your order, please check that the payment has been made. Then contact the seller. If the situation does not change, please contact us quickly.
  • Should I evaluate vendor? How do I?
    Yes. It is very important for sellers to have assessments of their buyers. Once you have received your order, please take a few minutes to evaluate the vendor. This allows us to increase the security of the platform, to eliminate unreliable people and reward those who act professionally. If you want to /make a remark/give a feedback, make sure you have first given the seller a chance to fix the problem. Craftsmen, producers or designers of the "Grand Marché" are very attentive to the customer satisfaction!
  • How can I evaluate a product?
    After you have logged in on the platform, go to the page of the product you want to evaluate and in the "Comments" box you can appreciate the product and leave a comment.
  • How can I evaluate an order ?
    Go to your client account and in the topic "Feedback waiting" you can evaluate your order. The orders can be evaluated by adding notes on the quality of delivery and communication, namely guest reviews.
  • What to do if I am not satisfied?
    If you are not satisfied with the product you received or the product does not meet your expectations, you can return it. First of all we advise you to contact the seller in order to find an arrangement (generally most of them accept to return the product).
  • How to return a product?
    In order to return an item you ordered, you need to login to your personal account. In the "Order history and details" section you will see all your orders. To make a return, you must open the relevant order, which must have the status "Delivered". Go to the "My merchandise returns" section, choose the product you want to return, indicate the reason for return and then validate by clicking on "Generate a return". .
  • How can I contact the seller?
    To contact the seller you can go to his/her store page or product page and you will find "Contact this seller" and "Have a question ? Contact the seller". Click this button and in the window that opens you can leave him/her a message.
  • How can I add a product to my favorites?
    When you are logged in, you can mark a product as favorite selecting the "Favorites" button on the product page. If you are not logged in, you will be redirected to the login page when this button is activated. The favorite list can be accessed from your personal account in the section "My favorite products".
  • How can I add a seller to my bookmarks?
    A seller can become one of your favorites by activating the button "Add to favorites" on his/her shop page. The list of your favorite sellers can be found on your personal account in the section "My favorite sellers".
  • What does it mean "My returns products" ?
    In this section of your personal account, you can consult the list of the products to return and the status of their return.
  • What does it mean "My credit slips" ?
    In this section of your personal account, as a request from a client for a return, you can consult the documents in pdf format, following a return of product.
